Momme is the unit of weight that measures silk density. 19 momme is the premium standard for pillowcases and sleep masks: dense enough to last for years, light enough to drape softly with a fluid feel. Below 16 momme silk feels brittle; above 22 it starts to feel stiff.

Yes. All of our silk comes from silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves — the source that produces the longest, most uniform fiber. Every batch is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Hand wash in cold water with a neutral pH soap or a mild shampoo. Skip fabric softeners and bleach. Lay flat to dry in the shade, never wring. Iron inside out on low heat if needed. Cared for properly, a silk pillowcase lasts for years.

Yes. Our pillowcases come in standard (20" × 26") and queen (20" × 30") sizes with an envelope closure, so they fit virtually every pillow sold in the US. If you have a specialty pillow, just message us before ordering.

Yes. It is double-layered mulberry silk with a wide elastic band — it conforms without pressing and leaves no marks. The adjustable strap secures it without straining the eye area.

The opposite. Their fully smooth surface lets hair glide without friction. We recommend them for sleeping and for workouts: they hold without creasing and, unlike regular elastics, never snap your hair.
